The Olin College passenger van is a 2002 Ford Windstar that seats 7 people. The van is available for the Olin College community to use for authorized activities. In order to have van privileges, students must complete student certification. Student Certification The certification process consists of the following elements:
Acceptable Use The van can only be used for authorized college activities that will be determined by the Office of Student Life. Reservation Once you are certified and your activity for use has been approved, please email olinvan@olin.edu to reserve the van or call ext. 2312.
We're pleased to announce that two Zip Cars are now available at Olin! The cars are located in two designated parking spots in the 3rd tier of Lot A. The Olin College Zip Car account is available on line and members of the community can go here to register to become part of the Zip Car program. There is a $25 annual membership fee to be paid and a driving history check is performed. Once authorized, a Zip Card is mailed out, which is used to activate the car at the reserved time. The keys are in the cars and reservations include gas, insurance, satellite radio, 24/7 roadside assistance and parking. The discounted Olin Account rates are $8.00 per hour or $60 per day( 24 hours) and include 125 FREE miles included per day, with additional miles from $0.35. Value plans or buying discounted bulk hours may be something that is added later, but are not available at this time.

Wellesley- Olin - Babson Shuttle Thanks to the collaboration between Olin College, Wellesley College and Babson College, a jointly funded shuttle will run between the three campuses. The shuttle will depart Olin at 22 and 52 minutes after the hour and operate on a half-hourly schedule from 7:40 am until 6:37 pm except during a lunch break from 12:07 pm through 12:40 pm. Monday through Friday, while Olin classes are in session. The shuttle will be free of charge to the Olin community. The use of the shuttle will be reviewed each semester to make sure that it is financially viable to continue the service.
